“From the pumping and grinding of Sydney’s best nightclubs to the mountains of the Black Forest in Bavaria, the book introduces the reader to a range of characters and personalities that epitomises human nature.”
Review of Natural Causes by B.D., Sydney, Australia.
Once I managed to keep up with the fast paced nature of the story line, I found myself immersed in the complicated playboy life of Tiberius Doyle. Running along to the Beats of the clock, the reader has to concentrate and keep up with Tibe’s fast paced life in order not to be left behind. The lifestyle of the protagonist is one that all men would have aspired to, at some stage of their lives. However, when Tibe wants to start taking it easy, that’s when it starts to get interesting. The book delves into the vast space that lies between the utmost best of humankind to the worst of our species. From the pumping and grinding of Sydney’s best nightclubs to the mountains of the Black Forest in Bavaria, the book introduces the reader to a range of characters and personalities that epitomises human nature. With the many characters contained within the page of Natural Causes, comes an insight into how low some people will go to gain wealth, prestige and prosperity. Sometimes, having all the friends in the world means that a few bad ones can quickly ruin your world and that of the ones that you love. Although being a science fiction based thriller, the novel explores modern high tech scientific research and technology. The author has obviously done his extensive research into a range of scientific genres and topics to bring science fiction to real life. Science fiction and fact are cleverly interwoven together so that it leaves the reader sometimes second-guessing the real world. With genetic cloning, stem cell research and organ harvesting constantly in today’s real life media, the book offers a modern outlook on where this technology could lead us. It’s a recommended read to all those who like a mix of action, science fiction, raunchiness and adventure. I look forward to seeing the movie! B.D., Sydney, Australia.
